i think its a fine decision, just depends on what u looking for. corvette is bout the only chevy product i would ever buy. however, i think u can get a better deal outta a C6 than 60k. even tho they are vetts, u can def. get some discounts and whatnot.. take ur time. there are many vetts sittin in the chevy lots (at least around where i live).
on a side note, there should def be NO market adjustments ... unless its the newest Z06. C6 are a plenty these days.. as for infiniti lasting u 30 years?? lol.. i really dotn know about that, but should prob last u a few years longer than a Vett.. now a toyota lasting u 30 years may be more believable! |

For $60k, I'd buy other cars. Hey, why not throw an M45 engine into your coupe and mod it to beat corvettes?

It's all kind of relative. Infiniti's interior feels cheap compare to Audi and Toyota is more reliable than Nissan (Infiniti) You are buying a sports car (C6) you buy it with your heart not with your brain. Seriously, the best move for your wallet is not buy a car at all. Just buy the car you can afford that will make you the happiest.

If you like all out performance and don't need a back seat, it's a no brainer. If you are going to buy a C6, do it now because they are being discounted heavily. You should easily be able to buy one for $4K off the sticker. One thing for certain, evey time you take the C6 for a drive and hit the gas pedal, it's guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
Here's a good site for you to get info on C6s, including Dealer discounts: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/index.php? |

I saw a yellow Z06 coming on the highway the other night and let me tell you that car is serious looking! I would take one in a second and the same with the C6 but I would be worried about reliability in a couple of years.

The new vette, is sick looking. even just the base model (C6). I don't believe the new model is "cheap" looking either. Maybe the old model but the new model is all new. If I had the money I would get that. Hey I LOVE our cars (i seriously think sometimes i am in love with it), but to say it is that much better than a new vette is, like the guy before me said.....its all relative. I had an 02 Audi A4 3.0 quattro, and an 04 Acura TL before i got my G in July and the interior of the G compared to those 2 cars does look cheap actually. But you get what you want, and interior didn't matter much to me......the handling of the G/exterior looks won me over......and that is why i drive a G. Go with your heart bro......get what you truly want....

C6 is indeed sick car to begine with. vett still turns head. I'v had 2 chevy in the past one tahoe and camero. My final thought is that I will never buy chevy again. so many stupid problems after 3 years... That's reall sad how chevy became like this. Then again.. I don't know about vett since it's chevy's flagship sports car. u should really look into vett forum to find out common problems.

You can defn get a c6 for about 50K and if you can afford that and live with two seats you should get the c6. The interior may seem a little cheap compared to the G but not much. I think the performance and looks more than make up for it. And with some cheap mods you can be pushing big numbers without going FI. The 06 C6s also have the new 6 speed auto with paddle shifters over the 05s if you are looking for an auto.
