the G cant hang

at first i thought it was just my wife couldnt shift fast enough. not long after i bought my wife her 2005 6mt coupe, we were lined up at a red light, and i was in my 2001 supercharged 5.3 suburban, AND it is 4wd, AND it has 22's . anyways i knew she was gonna hit it, so when the light turned green we both nailed it and the i pulled out till she was at my back door, and stayed there till about 70mph, i dont know what happened then but she started to pull on by me.
well last night i was in the G and she was in the chevy, and we raced twice, once with VDC on and once with VDC off. and both times it was just like before she jumpped off the line (those 22's DO NOT spin) and i was at her door till about 70, when i started pullin. the chevy must shift into third at that speed
just thought i'd share that story. its not really the G's fault, the suburban is pushin about 425hp and 500 torque.i have water injection, chipped, dual exhaust, larger injectors. but it does weigh almost 5k

Hmm.. I wonder why?

You've obviously modded your Suburban if it has that much power, so the comparison of a stock G vs a modded vehicle doesn't really mean a thing.

no i dont really have a point , i was just relating what i have observed.
that a 5000 pound supercharged suburban can out accelerate, a 3200 pound g35. im not dissin the g35 i was just surprised. i still love the G. just this morning, me and my wife were heading into the city, we live in the middle of nowhere and a convertible mustang gt came flyin up behind me so i downshifted to third and waiteed till he got to my doors and floored it and we held even from 55 to about 90 when i shifted to fourth, then pulled away till 120 where we both let off. then as we rolled into town we hit a light and the guy said next time i wont let you win. that kinda sucked, i know i blew his doors off but he kinda took the wind out of my sails

Unless you chopped 300 pounds out of it your G weighs 3500 lbs.

I also observed that I can't keep up with my friends R1 when I ride my bicycle. That was a shocker!

god, that pretty heavy. before the g35 we had a 2002 altima3.5 i loved that car, it was my first new car. and in 2002 it was one of the fastest cars around. well, around here anyway. it was great having a 4-door that would rip. and this car feels about the same as the alty, but looks muuuch classier. and its got the infiniti name.
is it just me or does noone on this board really run thier cars. it seems like everytime i go out poeple want to run me, they probably think its a 350z.

people on here are pretty snappy, i was just surprised and thought i'd post it, i normally dont think of 5 thousand pound trucks as being able to beat gt cars. and i normally never really run the suburban its mostly for carrying my family around, i just got it supercharged cause it was SOOOOO slow before. i read this forum all the time, but never posted. seems that was better.

Your post was snappy... there should be no surprise that the responses are. Aferall, look at the title of your post and the forum that you posted it on, plus the facts of the comparison that we've already mentioned.

I'm sure most of us aren't here to hate/fight, but somewhat sharp responses had to be expected based on the way your post was formulated.

So a heavily modified V8 truck beat a stock G35 in what sounds like an 1/8 mile - so what's the point?

So, you have a SURURBAN, it's AWD, V8, SUPERCHARGED, runs on DUB+2, WEIGHTS 5K, and you RACE YOUR WIFE. Wow, your thing must be SOOOOOOO small.
