Any GOOD Acura NSX forums out there?

As the title states, anyone know an exceptionally good NSX forum that has a lot of knowledgeable and helpful members?

TIA,
Mike

The reason I ask is I'm looking into maybe giving up my G for one of these, is like a '94 NSX reliable as a daily driver, or is this strictly like a week-end driver type of deal?

Why would you trade ur g for a 94 NSX? U know ur going to get high miles on it, and plus having a 94 doesnt it freak u with the reliable? I would never trade my 03 for something under 2000 year no matter if its a vette or something.

Just a thought, Sorry i cant help u out on this much

I am in the same boat as you, wanting an NSX in the future...

It's not gonna be my next car though. I own a one bedroom condo now, and would like to step up to some sort of house or fancy condo with a garage before I buy a nice car like that. Gotta buy a better house before I buy a better car.

Anyways, www.nsxprime.com is an awesome forum. For the most part there is a good group of people on there. Of course you have your standard "I own an NSX so I'm the sh*t" types, and the "my daddy just bought me a new NSX, how do I make it run 11's in the cheapest way possible" people on there, but what forum doesn't right?

Good luck on your search for an NSX, and remember, people will always ask why you spent so much on a 10+ year old car when you could've gotten a Vette, Viper, EVO, STI, etc...but it's all about what makes you happy. If you actually take the time to research what the NSX is about and why it was designed the way it was, it's a pretty interesting story.

It seems that the owners love the car for what it is, and how it is built. Obviously there are tons of faster and nicer cars out there, but to each their own. I have trolled that board for a while now and there are actually a lot of people that use them as daily drivers. I wouldn't own one as my only car though...doesn't seem practical...just my 0.02

I always wonder why buy the NSX. It was a truly awesome car when it was introduced, but now it's behind.

I guess it would be better to buy a '94 NSX than to buy a brand new NSX that was nearly identical. If I were going to buy one, it would be the T-top. I don't know if they still make them, I think they were available in '95.

It just seems like the NSX should have evolved more over the years than it did. I only drove one once, and it was ten years ago. It was cool, but even then I didn't think it was much better than the old porsche 911 carrera I was driving.

I work as a service advisor for an Acura dealership. I have driven plenty of NSXs.
They are very well built cars that like any Honda can go 300,000 miles if properly taken care of. One thing to remember is Honda/Acura prices the parts on the NSX like a supercar.
Example
NSX window regulator installed $990
NSX climate control unit $2700
NSX Driver's inside door handle ($550)

One thing I hate to see is when someone buys a used NSX thinking they can have a "big boy" car and don't realize they have to pay "big boy" prices for parts/service. Can't tell you how many people sell their NSX's because they can't fix them when they do break.

I'd say go for it as long as you realize the oil filter from Honda/Acura is $25 vs. $8 for any other Honda/Acura.

This is what I'm talking about, it might not be the fastest car in the world...but from what I hear they are some of the most FUN cars to drive.

I really need to drive one, it's just kinda hard for my 21 year old @ss to get a dealership to let me test drive one. And I feel kind of bad joy riding some one's used 94 NSX when at this time I really have no intention of buying.

NSX IS JUST SO DAMN SEXY, WOW!

NSX are EXTREMELY reliable. Like somebody said, 300,000 miles should not be a problem for a well maintain NSX. So, a 94' NSX shouldn't be a problem with reliability. Although there are many high mileage NSX (since they are so fun to drive, many owners use it as a dialy driver), there are plenty of low mileage NSX too. I've seen quite a few 94' NSX with less than 40,000 miles. To answer your question, NSXprime.com is the main website for NSX owners.
