Well, if there is going to be an M3 sedan and this is it, the sheetmetal being used is just to keep it camoflauged. It looks identical to the new 330 sedan. I've heard rumors of a turbo 3 series but BMW looks like they are keeping any different body styling under wraps for the time being.

I'm pretty sure that BMW is going to fill in their number sequence.
Even numbers will be coupes, odd numbers will be sedans. So, it could be an M3, because the coupe, on the same platform would be a 4 series. Has anyone else heard this?

i've also heard such rumours... but then again that's all it is... rumours. the one thing i find weird though... is usually the higher u go on the number list for bmw the higher the price tag jumps up. however, i just can't see a future 430 coupe costing more than a 330 sedan. why would it? it's probably going to be virtually the same car but with 2 doors. in any case i'm sure the coupes should be out by the end of this summer/fall.

Yeah, I've heard they will be revamping the numbers on their lineup as well. There was talk of a 1 or 2 series as well. If they actually come out with a4 door M3 I know what my next car will be.
