dilemna: Keep Coupe or get 997
I'm facing a car dilemna and was hoping my G35 brothers (and sisters) can help me out. As some of you may know my car is on sale in the classifeds section. I originally planned on getting a Cayman S. However, I may end up just getting the 997 my dad bought in May. I drive the 997 more often than he does as he drives it next to never. Anyway, he offered me the car for keeps and will allow me to mod it as I will. My car's sales proceeds will be used to pay off the 997. Here's my dilemna. Do I keep my G35 that I've faithfully modded for the last 3 years. Or do I let go of the sentimental car for the 997 and start all over again. Here are pictures of the two cars.

997 hands down IMO. Although I absolutely love the new CaymanS. And of course, the G35 is one of the hottest cars today... Hard decision.

Listen man, I'm new to this site and to the whole G35 Coupe owner experience, but I can tell you that that 997 looks hot. I'd go for it. Of course, I assume you've weighed the expenses on taking over the 997 vs. selling the G, right?
How many miles on the Porsche? |

honestly, if you can.....keep them both!! your g is sweet looking... but the porsche is in a whole new class..... let the g be the beater...... but if you need to sell one, let the g go and keep the porsche......

I would keep the Porshe. I love the Cayman too, but the 997 is in a different class. I would assume the Porsche would be a fortune to mod, and it already looks sweet.

I'm sure the 911 is the better choice but I prefer the Cayman. It looks better and I hear it drives better. The only thing the 911 has over it is power. I don't know how you pay for insurance, but I'm sure it will go up quite a bit from a G35 to a 911. Either way, you are a lucky sob that can't lose.
