Need Some Info With This Skyline Badge Thing!!!

Ok not knocking anyone and am still considering doing this myself but anyone remember when the term RICE was out. You know the average D16 Civic rolling around with a Type R Badge on it!!!! Is this the same thing or what???? Please let me know.....

the nissan skyline is the same car as the infiniti g35. more curiously... why is this even posted in this section of the forum?

and since im bored, our g35 is a skyline, for the current model of skyline's their isnt any turbo option. sorry but your thought wrong. and from a person who had a civic, it is possible to convert a usdm civic to a type r, BUT most ppl just slap a badge on it and dont really swap a jdm engine in there.

SKYLINE does not necessarily equal to GTR
It is only the GTR, GTT or GTS have turbo and only GTR has ATTESA-ETS(AWD)
but
SKYLINE = G35 = V35/CPV35, thats a fact
If you have any doubts, go open your hood up, check the chassis number from your "Nissan" production plate and it will say V35/CPV35 with NEO VQ35DE engine
then go on to the Nissan Japan website and check the specifications tab and see for yourself it says V35/CPV35 with a choice of either the VQ35 or another engine
Look for yourself and see if it is the G35 you are driving

Adding a GTR badge will make your G look rice but being a Skyline is the truth
Doing this is like adding a Japanese Civic badge on your USDM civic, putting a Japan/Euro Accord and Honda badge on your TSX, putting a Japanese Honda and Legend badge on your RL.

it irritates me how someone are calling fellow members ricing their cars when all they are doing is stating a truth. When Japanese people want our Infiniti and G35 badges, you know that we are stating the truth...

1st of all ... your posting in the '...> Future Models > GTR > Pre-Production Talk > Exterior..' section. what do current badges have to do with this car??

the skyline badges go perfectly on a G35. some people in the US are just used to thinking since they have a luxury brand it is worth more --- just go on nissan's japan website and the G35 coupe and sedan both have skyline all over it.

i think the DUB symbols are a lot worse now than ever.
