Actually the GTO/Z28/TRANSAM all Get about 23 city and 28-31 highway. Due to its gearing you can travel at 70 mph at 1500 rpm.

Depends - the automatic GTO gets hit with a gas guzzler tax. The 6 spd. GTO avoids the gas guzzler tax because it is more efficient and has the 1-4 skip shift feature which helps its city MPG's. The skip shift is annoying, but very easy to disable.

The LS2 is a suprisingly fuel efficient engine though for its size. Real word fuel economy isn't much worse than the G35: about 25 MPG on the highway, and about 17 city.

I didn't realize that it got that good of gas milage. In that case, I would still choose the G for long term reliability and Infiniti customer service. I also like the HID's. Does the GTO have HID's? Don't get me wrong. It is a bada** car but for a daily driver, I prefer luxury and elegance over raw power.

^The g35 isent exactly luxurious. The M45 is luxurious.

GTO is same size as G35C, bigger engine, interior is nice, you can get sunroofs if im not wrong.

Unfortunately the GTO isn't available with a moonroof. It is one of the drawbacks to the car. No NAV option either.

Well, just roll the windows down. Nav, who needs it. Its kind of a dumb option in my opinion.

True - they're not options that would change my buying decision of a car. The NAV was nice on my G, but there are plenty of better aftermarket units out there for less (Tom-Tom, Magellan, etc.)

Uh, no it isn't. It's a Corvette engine but that's all they have in common.
