Honda or Nissan minivan

Hey guys, I was thinking of adding another car to the family since we have a baby in the house. (Brothers baby) So I am stuck between the Nissan quest and a Honda odyssey. Please advice me on this and what do you guys think I should get. Help a fellow Z owner decide on this…..

i luv the way the quest looks (for a mini van). but i've read some great reviews for the odyssey.

test drive both and see which you like best

either way throw some 24's on it

I personally don't think you could go wrong either way, but I love the Quest's SkyView glass roof.....very cool IMO. If you don't mind the Quest's unique interior/exterior styling than I think it would be a great choice. You certainly can't argue with the Odyssey's track record either.

Here is some information that might help with your decision.

Probably the better choice. Every review about the Honda is great.

the odyssey has been known to have transmission problems. one of my friend's odyssey (03) had to get the whole transmission replaced... but maybe it's fixed now

I bet the odyssey is 100x better. Its gotten rave reviews from mags and my friends that have one absolutely love it. The nissan one has received lukewarm reviews and reliability isn't so hot.

I have yet to read a comparo test anywhere that didn't pic the Honda or Toyota. Quest has not been a good seller to date in its current form, mostly due to the centre instruments I would suggest, but dynamically it's no match for the Honda either.

Honda.

Quest reliabilty, resale does not match the Honda. Neither does the quality of interior, ride and driveability.

Good choice on the Honda

Nasty Honda Liberal mom minivan.

That ****face who used to be my friend but decided to make up a bunch of **** as an excuse to not be my friend just because im not a ****ing liberal had an Odyssey. if i could blow one car off the planet and never see it agian, it would be the odessey.

The quest is the only Minivan i'd ever buy. The engine is amazing and i love the interior.

We have owned 3 Odysseys, a '99, '02, and now have the newer model from05. Tested the Quest and Sienna each time to be sure we wanted another Odyssey. Still the better choice as far as we are concerned. No issues or problems except the '02 had a balky shifting transmission that was repaired under warranty. The '99 and "02 each had over 55K when traded in.
