How can I beat my brother SC M3?

OK, my borther has big mouth, he just keep talking about how good are the e46 engines than the VQ35 engines. Now, he has SuperCharge on his M3. His M3 make 430whp with 100 octen race gas, imagine how much he is talking now after the supercharge.

.. sometimes he makes me hate my G35, cause he keep saying the altime, maxima ..ets has same engine as yours, so it's not made for sport cars. Most of the time i feel sad, and just go away from him, and he don't feel sh!t.

.. about me i love my car, but i hate it when most of sports car beat me down. I was thinking, and still one rebuild my engine and makes it mad 500whp, but then i'm fraid that my brother beat me down with his 430whp m3 cause of the gears. I don't want to spend over $17k, then i got my *** down

Who cares what he thinks, just do the best you can while keeping the engines reliability.

Well, everythime he mentions how fast his M3 is? (with S/C no less, was its AA?) just ask him how much he paid for it, my guess is around 67k~ish and with that much money invested in a car, I would certainly hope that it is faster than our G35, also ask him, for as much money he spend on the M3, would an C6 Z06 be faster than his S/C'd M3?

or.. find a big stick, beat his skull in, set his car on fire, rape his wife/girlfriend, burn his house down and shoot his dog. i bet THAT would shut him up! or just tell him the G is much nicer looking.

Well, he bought his m3 used for $46k, then he add SC for $14k. Which is aound $50k. What is making me to build my car 500whp, cause Z1 MotorSports will give you rebuild engine that can hold whp500+ for $6k but they will take your engine so the can rebuild it and sell it for others. If you took there engine they will install the APS TT for $1000 only. so if you do the math, $6000 for rebuild VQ35 engine + $1000 labor + $7500 APSTT + $2500 for engine exchange = $17000. But, i'm worried about the G35 gearing, I though i can change the deffrention from the manual to auto, so i can still have the manual gears but with auto ratio so i can get more time for the TT to work.

Oh and here is the Z1 MotorSport site for the engines.

First your Bro paid 60k not 50k(46+14=60 )...I do not know much about F/I but I do know you will need more than just APSTT kit at 7.5k, like higher flow fuel pump/engin management system/new(reflash) ECU's/larger oil pan/boost controller/clutch/flywheel...on and on, so you WILL end up speand way way more than just 17000!...I have always thought that if you want an faster car? get a faster car begin with.

Lool it's 4:30 am in here, and i want to sleep do for give me for tha math. The other moods will cost around $3000 with low laber since they will replace my engine allready i guess.

My goal to get my car 500whp within next 3 years, So when i graduate my car will be good to go

people like that make me sick, they probably beat their wives too. Next time he sais ish, just tell him the m3 engine has had major problems with THROWING RODS that BMW has admitted. http://www.findarticles.com/p/articl...12/ai_n7294608

Tell him that BMW has major reliability problems in general, unlike japanese manufacturers. Tell him that since he put an S/C in, he's forfeited any warranty he might have had and his car will soon be a $60k brick.

Then, tell him that his car looks like a 325i to most people, and bears a striking resemblence to a honda civic. Tell him that the 3 series is played out cause there are as many of em on the road as honda civics. Tell him you don't want to look like EVERY other car on the road. Tell him people come up to you in the street and compliment the looks of your car (happens to me all the time - i have a dg coupe).

Tell him the 3 series and the G35 are in different classes of cars - the 3 series is in the compact class, and the G35 is in the mid-size class. And that you can't believe that he paid twice as much as you for half as much car.

Just enjoy your car for what it is. Making it faster will not shut a person like him up. He'll always find something to critisize. It comes from being insecure about himself. Its not YOUR problem, its his. He's obviously trying to compensate for something.

C6 Z06 would walk circles around the M3... then chew it up and spit it out for breakfeast, lunch, and dinner...

Actually, I would like to see a dyno. He gained 150 rwhp off a supercharger with a 11.5:1 compression ratio, highly unlikely. I've seen superchargers for the E46 M3 and they only yield 415 hp, not rwhp. Are you sure this is rwhp? Even the VQ at 10.3:1 can only get a safe 130 rwhp off of 8 psi. Unless he rebuilt his engine with a lower compression ratio, which is uber expensive for the Siemens engine, race him to see if he blows his engine.

Oh, to answer the second part of your question. Get a forged block, a good TT setup, and engine management and you'll be making 450 rwhp easy. The serious FI guys are already in the mid 500's. Change out you rear end to the automatic Z/G 3.3 ratio and some wide sticky tires to handle the beast.
