A Mazda?

Being the dutiful grandson, I picked up my grandparents to take them out to lunch today as they are very lonely people.

My grandfather walks out of the house, looks at my G, and says, "Wow, thats a really nice Mazda." I told him it wasnt a Mazda but an Infiniti, but he insisted the badge on the grill was a Mazda badge.

Not even the "Infiniti" sign on the back convinced him. I was like, whatever. It never even crossed my mind that the Infiniti and Mazda badges are kind of similar. haha.

Does your grandfather need Aricept? (alzheimer's drug) Maybe he's not big into cars and can't distinguish among the Japanese makes? If anything, Mazda more resembles the Toyota symbol than the Infiniti badge.

I guess it's similar. Just wait until people start confusing it with Chery.

So Mazda is an upside-down Infiniti symbol? Dude, I get annoyed with all the stupid $hit people say about cars when they don't know jack-squat. For example, my friend asked if my parent's SUV had FWD. I said, no, it has AWD (all WD), and he said same thing. He thought that FWD = Four WD, but that is known as 4WD. FWD really means Front WD. I had to educate his dumb a$$. I have never seen FWD to mean 4 WD.
