2005 Jaguar X Type 3.0 Sport

So what do you guys think of this car?

Power is definitely not one of it's strengths, it's only packing 200 horsepower and 227 ft lbs of torque. I believe the Jag's main thing is luxury and comfort. But I hear they are also extremely unreliable, but wow they are damnnnn sexyyyyy

Here's a link to more pics of that guys car http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2048917

jag has improved their reliability tremendously, to the point that my dad was even thinking about picking one up (he's been a straight toyota/lexus guy).

my friend has an '04 X type with the 3.0L engine. it's decent inside, but doesn't have much pickup. he's got major brake dust issues. the X is aiming to be an "affordable" luxe car. i think hardcore jag fans were sad to see the X come out since it made jags more affordable.

I'm STILL sad to see the X-Type came out and I'm not even a Jaguar fan. It scares me to think that the domestics started the HP wars way back in the day and now they are too oblivious to what's going on in the market to take control over engine power. Jag being Ford and all...

Yea, but the X type...for the sport version seems extremely luxurious...

Alcantra suede seats, carbon fiber interior, seems real nice. I want to test drive one.

You can get one.. I won't stop you. I'd certainly recommend a used S-Type first.

Nothing says "Move bitch, I've got money!" quite like an S-Type:
