Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8, this thing is MEAN
This thing has got a 6.1 liter HEMI V8 pushing 420 HP and 420 TQ, does 0-60 under 5 seconds, it's AWD, got the brembo brakes, bilstein shocks, suede and carbon fiber interior........THIS THING IS JUST MEANNN, all for about $40k.
Interestingly, car and driver raved so much about this car versus the Chevy Trailblazer SS...but still rated the SS higher because it's got more "Utility". But if you read the article they sing the praises of the Jeep, and bash the SS. So it just kind of left me confused. Here's the link http://www.caranddriver.com/comparis...ing-sense.html Here's some pics of the Jeep, this thing is so mean...20 inch forged wheels, body kit, and dropped on the sports suspension....here's a link to the guys cardomain page...http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2259101 ![]() ![]()

carbon fibre interior? where? looks like cheap grey plastic to me. cannot stand those interiors, they're just fugly. nice power though. but i'd still rather get a sports car.

the SRT-8 is sick, i test drove a TB SS and SRT-8 back to back a few weeks ago. I love the jeep as i own 2 right now, and i would love to have one of the 420 in production but i think i will have to wait till next year to buy. the TB SS responds very well to a tune and intake, i have seen track times with those two mods running 13.4 @102. the SRT-8 on the other hand pulled a 13.2 stock, and it generates .88g on the skidpad, add those amazing stats to a 0-100 time in 12.0 seconds and you have one mean MOFO.

I used to work at a jeep dealership, and we were one of the first people in the area to get an SRT-8. They thing is just flat out fast. It will plant you in your seat and keep you there. I think the styling is a little off, kind of looks minivanish, but its a sweet SUV, and the exhaust note is killer.

the only downfall which doesn't bother me is the low ground clearance in the front bumper

i think you would have to try pretty hard to role one of these things. the gas mileage is pretty freakin bad. The SRT-8 is a POS offroad, well it cannot offroad, but how many SUVs these days can? i have seen some vids of it in the snow and it seems to be alright though.
