best speed and MPG
we all know the mpg's on our cars arent the best. What cars give you the best mpg and great performace?
Maybe a vette, i think 18/26. bmw 330's, I think 21/30 what else? |

shifting at 1900 rpm everytime and not giving more than 1/8 of gas on ur car.

I think the ariel atom has the S2000 engine (i'm pretty sure i read in Motor Trend about this beast).

The ariel definitely has the "civic Type-R" engine (which I assume is a 2.0L good for 200+ hp, so the RSX motor) supercharged up to 300 hp.
If you check out one of the recent C/D issues, they did a 4-banger supercar meet. The 2nd and 3rd place cars were both Elises. One kept the Toyota (190hp) engine and turbo'ed... the other replaced the Toyota 4, with the 2.0L Honda motor and supercharged... granted it was the smoother power delivery of the supercharger which put that Elise ahead, but I thought it was interesting how they were willing to drop so much money just to change from a Toyota I4 to the Honda one. |
