Some info about the video, for those who don't know Japanese or Chinese Font. At the end, they are discuse'n about the cars...
The video is for the G35c (mainly), that's a 280hp Gc and it does have a very good handle'n in turning. The 350Z was a improvement for the G35c due to it's a newer version than the G. For a sport coupe on the road, it is a high power car with half the cost for the BMW M3. At the end, 3 of them do agree the 3 cars handle'n is pretty much the same in turning. Just that the M3 turely have a higher HP, that's why it can go past the G and Z. Kcc

That's what the 3 guys said...I don't know...I havn't drive a M3 before. But I am sure a Porcshe C4 kills in handle'n...but ya, different in $$$...just like the M3 and G35 / 350Z.

i hate how people on here begin to compare our car to the m3... and when someone says that the m3 out performs a g35, THEN someone brings out the $ arguement. If we are going to talk about money, then don't compare the cars.... they are not similar in price. Why does everyone on here always try and compare our car with the m3 when its really not comparable. They are two different cars and in two different classes and two different price ranges. Our car is more comparable to a 330, is350/250, or a lower end benz model i think.... m3 is more in carrera class

Looks like the M3 had more body roll = more traction on the corners?? Especially that last corner - the G went way wide trying to keep up with the M3. That and the M3 had wider tires - perhaps stickier tires?
No question about the HP differential - a few more straights and the G and Z would've been far, far behind... ---- I have to say that the G and Z looked a lot better losing than the M3 did winning! (this is a G board right? ha ha, chins up!) |
