Srt-4 Vs G35 Coupe

Hey guys i got a question, has any of you G35 owners ever lost a race against a Dodge SRT-4? I have recently read on forums and chatrooms from SRT-4 owners bragging on how they beat G35's, 350Z's, Mustang's and so on...i think its just a load of BS! I think if i were to race one of those i would cream it no doubt about it whether is stock or not...

I don't know man I would watch out... I have been smoked by a few.. If he is 100 percent stock you are fine but if he isn't watch out.. It doesn't take much for them to beat us. Plus you live in Miami where about 90 percent of the SRT-4's rolling around are far from stock...

depends .. off the line the SRT should be quicker... starting from a roll is a different story .. also depends whether SRT is modded or not... its very easy to squeeze power outta SRT-4's ...

personally i hate the SRT4 i think its a cheap POS (peice of **** for those who dont know) i have raced them before and won against stock ones but it only cost $1500 for them to be pretty quick i raced one at the track the other night i ran 13.9 at 99mph he ran 13.5 so he smoked me but his boost was so high his exhaust was ready to fall off when he was burning out the moron was prolly trying to push 17 pounds of boost with a stock exhaust....but then again he beat me

Doesnt matter how they look they are still pretty fast and they dont have to do much to the car to make it faster.
1. its a stock turbo
2. its an american car

these two factors make it easy to mod. and easy to get fast. with less than 1000 dollars an SRT-4 can run 13.7 -13.9 1/4 mile. So if you are stock i would be weary about racing them from the line they would get a good jump on the G and slowly pull away. However, the G is going to have a hell of a lot more power in the top end most people dont race to 140+ mph.

Just one more thing..... I look at it this way the G has a lot more potential than the Neon. The G is heavy as crap so if you lighten the car up and you go FI there is no way the any Neon will beat a G.

ummm the potential is about the same... they can hit 500hp safely just like us with just bolt ons... only thing is... they can do it cheaper... ive been spanked by many SRT-4's ... im quicker off the line like i should be but after they put it in 2nd gear and they get it to where the turbo likes to be... im done... i have no chance from a roll... they will pull and pull and pull... 230whp on a 2400lb neon... 250rwhp on a 3500lb g35... do the math...

o i like to keep amenities btw... thats why i have a g35... the amenities... if you want to start spanking SRT-4s... go F/I or go home
