Well guys, time has come. I bought a BMW

The time has come for me to make my next purchase for a car. Since day 1 ive always wanted a BMW and have found every reason not to buy one. I have been getting really sick of my G35 lately, even though I love it, after taking a 1 hour drive in a 330XI I know that my 03 G doesnt even compare to the BMW. Tonight I made an order for a:
2006 BMW 330XI 6spd,
Alpine white,
Black Dakota Leather,
Bushed Aluminum Trim,
Navigation System
Premium Package
Sports Package with Styling 162 (staggered 18's)
Comfort Access
Heated Seats
Sat Radio Prep

The dealer I bought it from is owned by the same dealer I work for (Ira Motor Group) so I got employee pricing, which is $200 over invoice, the sticker was $46,940. Ill miss my G's exterior styling, however the features on the interior of the car really don't compare to the G35. As of right now most of my mods are on sale. I plan to demod in the next month, my 330 will be delievered July 18th. Its been a fun ride guys, I really enjoyed my stay at G35driver and Ill stick around the forums.

After driving it for an hour I fell in love with Idrive, and a ton of other features. The salesman that I went on a drive with I met during my training a couple months back so I he brought me down some loney roads and did some twisties. The one we drove didnt even have the sport package (im getting staggered wheels with 255/35/18's out back) and the car stayed just as planted as my g35 with stillen sways and tokico shocks. BMW's have outstanding handling, everyone always told me but this has actually been the first time ive driven one. I am so excited!! Also all wheel drive in New England will be so much better than my g35.

47K?? whoo, that's a bit steep for a 3 series. Just curious though, was the e46 m3 not an option for you? My bro has a 2004 6spd and it's a dream to drive. Very easy to drive at normal speeds as well so the comfort advantage is not really an excuse. Maybe you really needed a back seat, or....wanted something new and updated?? I dunno, but if I were you and had no haggle employee pricing at a beemer dealership, it would've been nothing but "M"s in my eyes....

Fair enough. I've never driven the new e90s so maybe they are just that good. I heard the new engines are really something else. Sweet looking car and congrats on your new toy. BTW, loving your avatar.....
