New z06 on top gear

A buddy of mine is watching episode 2 of the new season of top gear as I write this post. This episode includes a review of the new z06. It lapped the 'ring in 7:40, and top gear's test track in 1:22.4. That last time is a bit behind the new konexegexegexegexegexegexegexeg ccx, but faster than the Zonda and F430. Also a tick slower than the Porche GT3 RS. Still in the top10 though...

Quite impressive. Even more impressive: they call the z06 the "Best American Car", though they did complain about the ride and the sat-nav. Quote: "the sat-nav was set to find the nearest Fast Food restaraunt by default".

Keep in mind this is second-hand. Haven't seen the episode yet.

I just finished downloading the episode. Oddly enough i am leaving for england for 20 days for vacation tomorrow. i love england, however i cannot stand the arguements i get myself into over there. they just cant handle a good american car. they must still be bent out of shape about the revolution or something.

Same here. Top gear is my favorite tv show... I wish I actually got it on my tv.

where do you guys dld it from? I love TG, they used to have them on video.google ... they took them down now, where is a good site for them,?

use bit torrent. I use www.torrentspy.com and just search for top gear.

Trey not sure if you've seen it yet, it's out on you tube if you want to check it out at work-
I think they could have done better with a better launch.

All in all, they were EXTREMELY impressed with the new z06

mininova.org is another good source. I thought the 1st episode was much better but top gear is always good. The other cool thing Clarkson did with the Z06 was start from a complete standstill in 5th gear and then hit 165mph without shifting. It can actually hit 175 in 5th but he ran out of room. They couldn't help themselves in the end, though. They had to find things to bash about the Z06 because it's American.

www.finalgear.com has the torrents and discussions on Top Gear and 5th Gear. I heard the Discovery Channel is filming a U.S. version of Top Gear. I doubt it will be as good, but they are using a proper track (not an airfield) and hopefully the hosts will be funny and drive the piss out of the cars like the UK version.
