Tom TDi appear to want to sell the door only, I am quite happy to take it and pass the window motor on as mine is fine !!!
If TDI want to strip the door then all I need is the acuator

I'm a little lost.

Which page is the selling of the window motor on?
who is selling it?

If none of the above is true

where can I get one in the UK?
does anyone have links or hints about acquiring this item?

Thanks again for all your help in advance.

Ok i think the best thing is for TDI to sell the passenger door to Rob, i will speak with them early tomorrow for a good price . Rob can you pm xover to agree a price for the motor. Im sure both parts will work out very cheap.
If you both meet there on say a Saturday morning with some tools you could take the parts from the door and return the door itself to TDI as i might be able to sell it on to someone with panel damage. This will then make your parts cheaper.
Make sure TDI know you are going and at what time.

I think TDI are looking after my interests as they dont want to build up a labour charge for stripping these parts as they would have to pass that on to me

You have confused it by starting a new thread

Lets kill this thread and use the origional one. The topic can continue there

To clarify;

Its my car (Tom) that is being sold in parts. Reelybroke (Rob) wants the acuator and you (xover) want the window motor.

Hi OJ. As Tom says, it's probably best to stop this thread. We've been so used to using only one thread cos there are so few of us. It even got to the point where the thread went cold, as no one was on the forum for a few weeks. However, we've got a good thing going now with a great bunch of guys , so hopefully we'll be able to keep it going and swop some good info and stories.

FYI - I am in the process of finalising an online store for parts for servicing and enhancing 350GT's and other VQ35DE based vehicles (Murano, 350Z etc) for us in the UK. I too have been frustrated at getting parts for my Skyline, so have done the next best thing really! I have also found out shed loads about the technical side of these cars. I won't bore you all, but Nissan (Infiniti) did actually do some clever engineering with this model.

Second that well done Greg.I think we all have snagging list with our cars ,seems to always go back to Renault bits ????
That maybe unfair but the many of us have had problems with anything to do with doors and as Andy said most of the door bits belong to renault !!!

Not quite mate...the door lock certainly is, cos it's got it stamped on it. And perhaps other bits, but I haven't had time to look.
