Need your help with PP editing
Okay, so I've had this program Aperture for Mac's for about 2 months now. Up until now, all I really tinkered with was contrast, brightness, and exposure.
Right after I got my D80, I started messing around with other settings such as highlights, shadows, sharpness, saturation, sharpness... yada yada the list goes on. If you guys could be so kind to tell me or guide me in the right direction of what you use most often when editing your photos, I'd appreciate it! Here's one I took today that was over exposed and I tinkered around with it for about 2 minutes. Just a random photo with bad composure, but I thought it would make a good test subject. BTW: before I uploaded these photos into photobucket, those lines weren't there in the blue sky. I think photobucket lowered the quality of the image and created those weird lines? Before: ![]() After: ![]() Thanks!! ![]() Last edited by shipsaeki : 08-07-2008 at 01:06 AM. |

What lines?
And also, yes... photobucket does seriously decrease your resolution. Here's what I would've done:![]() Is it better? No. Just my style. I lowered the exposure because it was a tad too bright. I upped the highlights a bit and lowered the shadows... Added some vignetting.... i like vignetting for some reason... You also might need some sharpening done. It looks a tad soft..
