Did a shoot for a catering company.... samples inside

Thought I'd share some of the shots that I gave them. There are about 30 more, but no need to put them all here. All natural lighting and reflections.

Thoughts?

On the 2nd shot I'd have gotten rid of that black towel and maybe throw a little more light onto the back of those fruit tray shots and moved the tongs off of the food, the center portion of the table shot seems a tad bit overexposed.

Other than that i like them and now you've gone and made me hungry

first picture I love the contrast, but i don't think it would serve well as an add shot. It is a beautiful contrast, though.

yeah. as mentioned, at least get rid of the black towel.
Brighter picture would be great. It is looking nice from the art stand point..
but the photo art and commercial art are two different beasts, sadly..
correct me if i'm wrong.

the rest pictures are a cliche', but tastefully done. I like.

Some were for their site to use as "art" and spice. (Some were just cause I was there, and I was like "hey, why not". Such as the first and second) The rest were for ad's, brochures etc. I also have brighter versions for print.

I debated ditching the tongs, but in the end I voted to keep them as it adds an element of realism. Right or wrong, it's how it came out.

I guess I should also add that the wedding party ended up showing up early. I was supposed to have an hour... didn't happen.

I shot in .raw, had 30 minutes, two separate buildings, and I filled a 2 gig card. LOL I was walking out the back door to shoot the back setup about the time the guests were coming in the front. hahaha I pulled out of the parking lot before the bride and groom showed up.

I'm straight ninja.

Great shots, love them. A couple of them are a tad dark, but otherwise spectacular, especially the first one!

I'm not sure which one to pick.

I think I like the top one better.

I might be looking on these two from a sh!tty screen, but I like the top one better.. it seems just a hair darker, hence more real.

Nice work. I can't shoot that kind of stuff to save my life lol. I have no problems panning on bikes going by at 140+ but, ask me to take a picture of a buffet table and I'm at a total loss

Makes me hungry just lookin' at it

Isn't it funny how that works. Give me a girl or a car and I'm set, but give me a dude or a group of people and I have no clue what to do with them haha.
