This week's topic as selected by SPEEED: SHAPES.
Per SPEEED: Anything that has a unique shape to it, patterns, etc. is game. Contest opens: 08/12 0000est Contest closes: 08/18 2359est. This is the sixth weekly photo contest. Rules below This contest is designed for one purpose: to get you G35driver photographers shooting photos competitively on a regular basis with a particular subject or theme, the object to improve your photography and have fun ! Interesting topic Daniel. I'm going to have to think about what to shoot for this one. I'll keep my eyes open for interesting shapes this week.

I figured we should do something a bit different than the usual photography themes (landscapes, people, transportation, etc.), and get a bit more creative. I think we can come up with some very unique things. Looks like Calcvictim has managed to calculate something for us!

This picture probably won't be abstract enough for this topic, but I love the architectural lines of this picture I took at the Getty Museum.

 I have just recently "discovered" the photo section of this site but what I have seen has been really impressive. My wife and I visited the Getty museum almost two years ago on as part of a larger tour package. With the time alloted for us to visit, we never even got into the museum exhibits. The grounds and the architecture fascinated us so much that we ran out of time.

From a photo shoot I did on Sunday. Due to time constraints I had to shoot in the middle of the day
 , would have preferred doing the shoot at sunset. Mom is 9 months pregnant and due any day.D300, 18-200VR, Aperture Priority @ f/5.3, 1/60, SB-800, ISO 200, RAW, 664 x 1000
