Roadtrip pics
I took my bike so the D200 stayed at home. I have a little Nikon L6 that I put in my pocket for stuff like this.
Went from Albuquerque to Aztec to Durango to Silverton to Ouray and back. Man my butt is sore ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Thanks. The scenery up there is just spectacular. The first shot was taken a few miles up the highway from where I live - the rest were taken around Silverton and Ouray. Colorado is just such a beautiful place.
I need to take the G up there one of these days. I was getting around 45mpg on the bike so that's pretty hard to beat. I paid for it in pain instead. The Duc isn't what I'd call a touring bike by any means It's a lot of fun to ride on roads like that though.Last edited by zx11pilot : 08-16-2008 at 02:03 AM. |

Ducati Pilot....!
Super pic, great bike....I've driven/hitched thru New Mexico but I never saw
scenery like the pic display. My guess, 99% of the people in this country don't realize what beautiful scenery we have in this country off the main highways....including myself! (until recently) Thanks for the pic. Gary

Thanks guys. It was a great little getaway. The shot down on the village is of Quray, Colorado - they call it the "Switzerland of America". It's about 75 miles north of Durango. Very nice little place with hot springs and good beer....can't really go wrong with that
