Dust in my lens. Not just my lense, but my prized possession..

My Nikon 80-200 2.8 IF-ED.

My silent motha-fvcking wave 2.8.

It's IN the lens. All over the second-from-the-rear element.

I have on of those too....mine's dust free though

j/k man. I'd call Nikon and find out what they can do for you. Hopefully, it shouldn't cost too much to get it cleaned.

Stick it out of a Cessna when you're cruising at approximately 140 knots.

I did it two days ago and my lens is dust free .

+1, as long as none of it the dust is showing up in your images, particularly in shots of the sky at small apertures, then you should be ok. I know its frustrating hough when you see dust in your gear that you work so hard to keep clean, just went through the same thing with my body.
