Nikon D90 Preview....movie mode!!
In parallel with the 50D announcement......had to post the D90 preview =)

i was always wondered if they'd come out with this feature....
but all in all, this D90 looks pretty promising. a cross between a D80 and D300/D3....look at the 3in display. hopefully it doesn't share D80's metering sensor...blech and only 200 bux more than the D80!! sha-weet!

now what would be bad *** is if you could pause your movie and save any one frame as a full res picture, it would be like taking panning or rolling shots and only saving the good/non blurry parts, imagine all the deleting you wouldn't have to do. Even better if this feature supported a RAW format.

Very nice...people have been talking about this one for a long time. Nikon is going to sell a ton of these at only $1K. Glad I didn't hold out on getting the D300 though to pick up the D90. I need 51 AF points and 8fps

Damn, I've been on the edge between buying a Nikon and a Canon for a long time and this may be enough to move me back to the Nikon side along with a 18-200VR lens.
