Whats the plan for yours
The plan was for LS1 swap but i'm not sure how much is all that gonna cost me when it's said & done compared to just buying a jdm 13B and upgrade the turbo. By looking at your build thread i'm leaning toward the LS

LS would be sick.. I co-sign that.. lol

So this happen over the weekend. If any one knows me then you should know my love for SquareBody Duallys.. Well need a Tow Pig to take my car to events once done so finally picked up a 77' Chevy C30 454 with Th400 Trans.. And if you know me this will have everything replaced on it and new paint as well as being bagged on 22"fronts and 24" rear.. And end goal will be with a 6BT 12v Cummins.. That is another build that will take 3 years but I am okay with that..

Oh and this happen.. "let there be light",, Getting closer

Me either, going to be some time cause I want to redo the interior first and then the exterior before laying frame.. In between I might lower it just cause..

So sorry for the lack of update.. So we ran into some issues with the ChaseBays harness (No ****ing shock there).

So Stew is going through it and working everything out.. Lets just say first thing the harness was to short to reach some connectors, then it would not power on my PCM due to it giving constant power to were it should not. And then run into a issue with the starter..

But on a good note might have start up this weekor early next week.

Okay So a lil update on the start up.. Stew ran into some more issues with the starter, it was a simple fix so no worries there. Buuuut car turns over perfectly but will not start. So we are first going to address a few issues that may be causing that. For one get rid of this 3yr old gas.. nasty ****.. lol. Going to re-route my fuel lines so it is setup a lil better (time to order more fittings). And Stew has to weld on my new IAT bung and install sensor.

So once those things are addressed and have new gas in her we will give the start up a shot again. Now my only worry now is if it does not start, my guess is that the Coils are wired backwards or wrong in some way (again thank ChaseBays for that.. lol)

And I will leave this right here..lol

So I will keep you guys posted.

I received a jacked up harness from Chase Bays too. Ended up using the GM connect and cruise. It works perfect.

We need to sue CHASEBAYS for their crappy work. They never returned my calls either.

Sooooo the ChaseBays BS continues... Figuring out why it sounds like **** and wont hold a idle..

BAM!!! Pins were not locked in,, Like come on... So we did not have all eight ignition signals more like 6.. We have a rough tune but need to get a wide band on it. Also my TPS sensor reads backwards.. 100 at idle and 0% at WOT (guessing chasebays is to blame for this) So going to buy a new TPS just to be safe since mine was used.

But as of right now I have another vid with a better idle that I will post up (question how do you embed Vimeo vids?)

So for now I am going to bring her home, run my brake lines, lower car and get alignment and then head back to Dallas to get tuned and fix any issues we come up with..
