To Everyone on the Political Forums..
Many of us can get heated during these arguments we have, but i still love you all and i just want to say i'm proud to have such intelligent discourse in our country....
America is like an Eagle, and she needs both wings to fly.. i think highly of all of you, and i repect your opinions, please don't take anything i type too seriously, i make corrections often.... for me it's more like a good game of tennis, and no hard feelings, i think it's like that for most of you as well.... and once again, i'm proud to have such intelligent people on both sides of the debate... robust debate sharpens the mind and helps us decide on better solutions.... and Liberal, Conservative, whatever you are, we do all have one thing in common... that we want to make things better for our kids and future generations..... this is the greatet time to be alive, and i wouldn't have wanted to live in any other place or time, and even tho we make mistakes, i think we can all agree we are the greatest country in the world for the opportunities we give, or else why would we have a waiting line to get in, right? hopefully, we can all have a good time here on the forums and possibly come to at least some consensus.... -UR2EZ / Richard King

j/k. It's actually a lot tamer now than it once was. I think as long as it doesn't get personal, we're good. It's also good to have a place where you get to see what the "other side" is thinking.

ur2ez, it's good to see passion in politics... and it's refreshing to see the enthusiasm you bring to the table... unfortunately, it's only a dozen or so that poke around in here...
thousands of members, and we are the ones who discuss politics. it would be something to see hundreds of members visiting this section. someday the masses will actually care about what's happening to them...

My job involves both written and oral communication on a daily basis. Sometimes it is a relief to write about something I care about and not something I have to write for work. Part of my daily regimen that keeps me sane. Having said that, I am also hyper competitive and an incessant debater on diverse topics. I merely thank many of the intelligent people I have known who have challenged my critical self awareness and to visualize those circumstances from different angles to care for something bigger than just myself. Some of them are on this board as people I have never personally met, but spar on the politics forum on a daily basis. There are always the annoying flies, but that's just the Internet for ya.
