Perot's back and he brought his charts...

http://perotcharts.com/challenges/

I thought I'd post this, not for the doom and gloom message, but because it gives a simple to understand overview of the federal budget and public debt. I think the first half of the presentation is really well done. You can take what you like from the second half. It really takes a sharp turn from the presentation of facts to a "what if" scenario. I'm not saying it's wrong, just that it seems to make a lot of assumptions.

Anyway, what do you guys think? I know this subject has been done to death, but I found this too interesting to pass up.

I'm no economics expert or even a US resident but it makes sense to me.

I've seen similar projections for us Canadians and there are a lot of parallels. The average age in our country is a couple of years older and commitments on social programs even greater.

perot takes a good business approach to politics - maybe what we need.

it's too bad that the three people i enjoy as a break from the norm in politics: perot, nader, and ron paul, are three of the most unelectable, and annoying debaters on the circuit.

can i finish?... can i finish, can i finish?
