watched msnbc - got sick

i can't believe msnbc is allowed to be on tv. if ever there was a reason for the fairness doctrine, i found it.

the woman sitting in for oberman said,'and for those of you who still think that obama has flipped flopped his position on the war, here's a clip for you.'

clip referred to obama saying that he 'promised an end to the war in iraq' (he didn't say bring the troops home - he actually said that he'd redeploy them to afghanistan in that same clip).

it was nothing more than democratic supporters patting each other on the back, slamming bush, slamming mccain. there was even a segment called 'bushed', where they point out certain aspects of issues, and then place blame on president bush (i don't know how they do this).

if one man has become that important - then the system of checks and balances has failed.

for anyone here that has ever called foxnews some interesting names... what names do you call msnbc?

msnbc = foxnews. now you know how a lot of people feel about faux news. neither station is adding much to the public discourse.

btw, the lady sitting in for olbermann is from air america...not exactly a non-partisan station.

Just another biased station. Get used to is.

I saw a clip where McCain said he didn't support domestic drilling, then recently just stated he would push for just that.

i can't stand hannity and colmes. that's what i don't need - a conservative and a liberal talking about things...

hannity always brings up the same $hit. he just can't accept, 'hey, you've got that one,' and move on.

i watch all of them. i don't single out any news (editorial) source. it's just that night was over the top.

hannity keeps bringing up all of obama's flip flops, and mccain's flip flops. one thing i like about foxnews, is that they don't hold punches on any candidate (not even during the republican primaries).

i knew i recognized her from somewhere. she's very energetic, but she wears her affiliation on her sleeve.

There's a liberal on that show?

If that show is FoxNews' idea of fair and balance, then I need to research that phrase again! Everytime I watch that show, I want to smack Sean Hannity!

Really, they don't? When was the last time you watched H & C? All he does is bash Obama, and McCain gets a free rider from that nutrider! And then had the nerve to have pat Buchannon on the show, but bashed Obama's affiliation with Rev Wright, what a joke he (That show is)!

you're right when you say 'he' (i'm sure you're referring to hannity). but i don't think you mean them (as in colmes as well). so i think you have issues with 1 man of a 2 man show. this is the fairness doctrine in preemptive action.

Colmes is a poor attempt to have a balanced show. I mean have you ever watched that show? The majority, if not all of the guest they have on there are some Pro Rebulican panelist, and they gang up on little ol Colmes. It's like Johnny Carson and Ed McMahn, except Ed had some balls. So like I said, if that's their proof of being a fair and balanced network, I need to do some more research on that phrase!

Anyone who watched that show with common sense, could easily tell that it's a ONE MAN show!

so who's the one man, when he's not there (it happens quite a bit)?

so you're down playing alan colmes? i don't think you watch him... unless someone's got a 20 sec sound bite.
