Ventura has a rich history in Minnesota as governor and as a local resisdent. There's a local radio station that does Ventura skits that are pretty funny.

The most recent skit is the "Fish Police". The premise behind is that there were numerous callers on the radio morning show describing their run-in Ventura on a so called "private lake".

Apparently Ventura would spot them on the lake and tell them to get off it because there was no public lake access. However, people can access a lake as long as they have permission to access it from someone's else's private property.

The callers joked that he was the lakes unoffical DNR. Anyways, with the number of callers supporting each others stories, 93X (local station) decided to do this on Ventura.

Check it out...I think there's about 6 episodes.

that man should run for president... his political positions are closely inline with mine (think ron paul but better).

he really says what he feels and doesn't pander to get votes. and his positions actually have merit.

it's rare that a public official actually gives a sh*t about the country he serves, instead of his own agenda.
