Exclamation I'm voting Democrat!

Fwd: I'm Voting Democrat

I'm voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

I'm voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I'm voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good people.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

I'm voting Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy headed elitist liberals need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that when the terrorists don't have to hide from us over there, when they come over here I don't want to have any guns in the house to fight them off with.

I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry what ever I want. I've decided to marry my horse.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.

Makes ya wonder how anyone would EVER vote Democrat , now doesn't it?

Change democrat to republican and liberals to conservative and you just described the Patriot Act.

This is fun. It's like a word game, only all the players are really the same.

I'll take illegal wiretaps for the win Alex.

Imma go wiretap a phone to be sure. BRB.

Who doesn't say our Pledge? Please don't tell me you're taking sound bites at face value? Republican FTW indeed.

Foreign policy FTW? What does that mean? You're happy that Obama is well received overseas, or that McCain is jealous he can't get any coverage no matter where he goes?

Pulling out the troops is a matter that is held by both candidates, the only question is when and in which quantities. By the time the election arrives, differences in war policy will be transparent, and neither will mean squat once the selection is made.

What does being a war vet have to do with anything?

Quote:
McCain’s reputation as a war hero rests on the sum total of 20 hours in combat. That’s right. McCain spent only 20 hours in combat in the entire war. He flew 23 missions. He got 28 medals. In other words, he got more medals than he had missions. Not bad. It should be noted that none of McCain’s medals related to anything he did in combat. They were given for the supposed bravery he displayed after he had been shot down and captured.

As an Officer with 27 years of service, I can tell you that being a Navy Captain doesn't qualify anyone to run the country. Seeing as how the average selection rate to O6 is 40-50%, you basically just have to do your time and punch your tickets and you'll select.

The question I have for you is, have you researched and formed your own conclusions about McCain's military record, or are you taking the media at its word as you did with your pledge comment above?

These are just classic! So true!

I will give you that one...

I think the patriot act (I hate that term) is the worst thing to happen to civil liberties ever.

Of course. Wasn't that predictable? These threads polarize faster than a thread about Iran.
