but it's bad to call a person who lies a liar... that's just labelling.

I didn't hear anything about him lying... he still said that talking points went out. All I heard was O'reilly trying to badger him into spinning it.

son - but dad, quit yelling at me... she antagonized me, so i hit her, it was her fault. no, i'm not going to apologize... quit spinning this on me - it was her fault i hit her. you - son, she baited you... she baited you and you took it. you hit her... don't you owe her an apology? son - no, i don't. you - ok. i'm not going to get mad. i won't spin this (because that's what orielly would do). i'll let you get away saying or doing anything you want to your sister. it was her fault, and i'm not man enough to try and make all involved see the truth of what happened.... by all means - keep hitting her next time, because there are never any consequences for your actions, and you should never be held accountable for anything you say about anybody.

O'reilly sad something to the effect of : Will you tell them that I was never sent talking points?
McClellan said: I don't know that to be true... talking points were sent to friendly people. Yes, I'm paraphrasing. I define badgering as argumentively jousting with someone in order to get a response that you want without adding additional facts. Where in that piece of tape did McClellan admit to lying. He apologized for letting the interview get out of control.

Off base, asinine and not even a decent analogy. As far as you're concerned because O'reilly managed to get him to say sorry on the air it is evidence that he lied about everything. You're missing what McClellen actually apologized for.

actually i never thought mclellan lied about anything...
i didn't say that. mclellan said talking points were fed. everybody knows that. bill was only trying to get scott to clear up the facts... clearly, so the words he chose could not be misinterpreted. scott apologized for allowing nbc to interpret that he had specifically meant - bill was fed talking points - not that anybody else at fox was or wasn't.
