i'll say it once, and i'll say it again, if you actually READ what's in the quran, it's much more 'aggressive' compared to other religions holy books. There are many verses in there which are a tad violent.
I am not at all generalizing a religion of people, I have many muslim friends and am muslim myself. The funny thing however, is how all my muslim friends who 'think' they know anything about islam claim how islam teaches 'peace'. It does teach peace much like every other book, however if you actually read the verses, it also talks about cutting off peoples heads who resist allah.... In the end most of my muslim friends simply dont 'eat pork' and they consider themselves 'good muslims' I have no problem with Islam or any religion for that matter, but when a religion claims to decapitate or eliminate people who 'resist' or denounce allah....thats where I have problems. Just b/c I choose not to pray or follow a religion, doesnt mean I should be killed...and unfort. for those uneducated people in the Mid. East it means exactly that...
