And lo, the righteous doth speak, and cometh forth the sewer of indignation, and hypocrisy.

Actually, I would have voted for Ron Paul had he made it through the primaries. Or I would have even voted for Romney. But what we got was McCain and Palin. So I ended up voting for Obama, so it can happen. I didn't really vote for him because I agreed with him, it was more that I didn't think McCain would have done any better and the thought of Palin with real power is terrifying. Of course now, Obama has gone way overboard in a lot of what he is doing. But hindsite is 20/20 or something like that. Plus we'd be screwed no matter who was in office.

Keep in mind that not everyone is a partisan zealot. Many of us do cross party lines all the time and vote for whomever we agree with more despite the party they're in. So while I voted for Obama, I pretty much voted Republican on the rest of my ballot. I'm far closer to Libertarian in my views than Democratic. But lately it seems as if the Republicans are all about big gov't just like the Democrats and on top of it, they throw in religious righteousness.

It will certainly say something if 1207 does not get passed.

Which is why it needs to happen. Funny how the IRS audit folks all the time, I think the Fed is an institute that needs to be done.

yah but you're comparing the FED to normal ordinary people, yah it NEEDS to happen but that kind of thing would never happen as long as money is put first before basic human values which of course the US is so good at doing

F*ck this sh*t... idiots should have voted Ron Paul into office to begin with instead of hugging Obama, McCain, and Clinton's nuts... all this is pretty much too little, too late.

I'd reccommend EVERYONE did that, and tell your friends, relatives, work colleagues to as well. This is not a party issue, and it will affect each and every one of you. If there are peculiarities at the Fed, (remember that the Federal reserve is seen as a public institute, yet is has a LARGE private part, and the people need to know what the hell is going on, especially at this time.

Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) was blocked by Senate Democrat Leadership from having a vote on his amendment to audit the Federal Reserve, based on a bill authored by Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas) in the House, H.R. 1207, and Senator Bernie Sanders (D-Vermont) in the Senate, S. 604.

We need to spread the word and get this passed!

I've sent letters to Waxman, Feinstein, and Boxer and have told friends and family to do the same. This isn't about being a conservative, liberal, Democrat, or Republican. This is about accountability. Don't just talk about how government fvcks you over, do something productive about it.

I did my part, emailed my Rep and both Senators from TN! Bastards will probably ignore what I said, and respond with some canned response!
