There is no reason for them to be tried in NY . Using the Military court system would be easier and less costly for the Gov. Who ever gets appointed as his lawyer will get it moved to another city . Then there is the torture thing and that evidence will get thrown out . The list goes on and on and the costs will keep going up and up and will get dragged on for ever .

There has to be some reason this Adm. wants to try them in the civil courts . Maybe its just to give them a boost in the poles. Or maybe its just [ as they have said before ] to never let a good crisis go to waste

This is a mistake that these terrorists are being tried in this manner. Their attorneys can have the case thrown out with the water-boarding incident and there goes the case!

And this will only stir and awaken other terrorists into attacking us more.

There is absolutely no chance they get set free. They admitted their involvment in 9/11 and bragged about it.

The waterboarding was not to get them to admit 9/11, it was to get information about other potential plots and cells.

Even Nazi generals had their day in court. Our society believes in innocent until proven guilty and a chance to defend oneself in a court of law. It's part of what makes our country great. As vile as these men are, they will get their day to plead their case before we send them off to prison.
