Alright Rob, Story time: You asked these other women AFTER this Poll was created (or so it seems).

What prompted this poll? Did you pick up a married woman this weekend who wasn't wearing a ring (and you aren't intentionally that kind of guy)? What happened?

Also, you wrote something about guys either lying or honest about being married.

I honestly think you need to ask another then about men/women cheating with wedding rings on.

Personally, I am completely faithful. I can only bring that kind of anguish and disappointment to one woman at a time.

But I wrote something about it, and John wrote the same thing: A guy is more likely to get more attention leaving the ring on anyways. So I don't think you necessarily get the answers you may be searching for with guys.

what prompted this thread:

this past weekend a handful of female friends of mine took a trip to vegas. two of them are married and i'm pretty good friends w/ one of the husbands but i am a lot closer to the girl (she and i were friends long before she got married.)

my ex (whom i'm still good freinds w/) also went. she told me how both the married girls took their rings off as soon as they got to vegas. they all went out at night, the group split up bc the married girls, along w/ a few other girls, met up w/ some guys. they got free drinks, free food, went partying til 7am. when my ex asked why they took off the rings, they said it was easier to meet guys, to get free drinks, and would help them find guys for their single friends.

of course the husbands don't know and would be furious if they found out. i was quite disappointed to hear how they were so nonchallant about doing this, staying out and partying w/ total strangers (guys) w/o the knowledge of their husbands.

i just wanted to see if i was a fool by thinking that my future wife would not do this, whether the majority see's it as 'no big deal' and whether it was more prevalent w/ women or w/ men.

i have only known one guy friend that would take it off when he hit up bars but he's a sleezeball to begin w/ lol

Ehhh, in vegas, really??? Seriously a girl could wear her ring in vegas and still get a guy to buy drinks and for their single friends, so thats a BS excuse to take it off while they were there, maybe at like a local bar or something but vegas, hardly anyone give a shiit about "rules" in that city haha

yeah, then that just means that they wanted to make sure, that much more to get hooked up w/ drinks, partying, etc. etc.

it's also the mentality and mindset that bothers me; the "hey, i've got no reminders that i have a husband at home and i want to pretend i'm single again."
