![]() and no I did not lose it...........I returned it ![]() on the other hand.........The key is the reason why you want to take off the ring. If you want to do it for the reasons you mention in the OP then taking off the ring is the least of your problems. If you are in a proper/real/happy marriage then thoughts like this will never cross your mind or your wife/husband mind. Little things like that will not matter......at least they don't in my marriage. I don't care if she does or does not wear a ring because I know her intentions and reasons for doing so, and none of them are even remotely close to those mentioned by OP.

Is this ever a good idea? What possible good can come from removing your ring while going out? If it doesn't fit properly get it sized.

![]() And for clarification: I had written "sounds about right". I did not mean proper, I meant par for the course. Dave

I seriously did
and got something like this instead except it's in white gold, has same black stone in the middle and instead of black lines on the side it's got a row of diamonds And I wear it on a right hand on a ring finger. So in a way I am wearing a ring but it does not look like your usual wedding ring and it's on the wrong hand..........AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA SNEAKY SNEAKY

Lets see....
I dont think its wrong if you forget to put it on or just dont have it on. I never wear mine in fact it stays in my change holder in the middle compartment of my car. I always use to have it fall off my finger when i was doing handcuffing or searching someone. Its also a no-no in our line of work both military and police. Now on the other hand if they blatantly take it off just to get free drinks or make it easier to get women/men i think that is completely disrespectful to the other spouse. If i caught my wife doing that i would be heated. Thirdly why take off the ring? I think statistics show that a girl or guy with a ring is better to approach because they are less likely to tell your significant other. IE two married people having an affair. Also rings are like magnets for guys at the bar. Most girls that goto bars are not looking for anything more then a one night stand and who else is that perfect candidate. The one who wont call or bother you again.
