circumcision. Circum- means around, -cision means to cut. Circumcision usually pertains to the cutting off of the foreskin from the penis.
Everybody should check out Penn and Teller's Bullsh!t on Circumision. It's total bullsh!t! Lots of ppl don't even know what it is.

 If you read up on the history of circumcisions, it was first brought about in early christianity/judaism so that boys/men wouldn't masturbate.
