Egg recipe you can make in less than 1 minute
I call these "foam eggs" but basically you take an egg, break it into a small plastic or glass bowl (something about the size of a cereal bowl), then take a fork and whisk it for about 15 seconds to break the yoke.
Put the bowl in the microwave and turn it on high for a minute and watch the egg. It will rise up like a loaf of bread (it gets really big like expanding foam or something). Anyway, soon as it stops growing, turn off the microwave. The egg will now collapse down to maybe 1/2 inch thick. Use a spoon and remove egg (in one piece) from the bowl. It will look kind of like a round omelet but have a much more spongey texture. Plop on a bread, add mayo and pepper, for a really quick egg sandwich. You can literally make these things in less than a minute and they are pretty good. -------------------------------------------------- While I'm talking about recipes, I have a few more that are pretty good. Vanilla wafer "milk shake". Pour milk in a blender, add vanilla wafers and blend. Keep adding vanilla wafers until you end up with something about the consistency of mud. You'll be suprized how many vanilla wafers will fit into one of these shakes. If you make it thick, you'll use about a box per shake. -------------------------------------------------- Here's another... Get a thick New York strip steak. Throw it in a ziplock bag. Add enough Jack Daniels Whisky to cover the steak. Add a shotglass of white vinegar and a shot glass of brown sugar. Zip the ziplock bag up and throw it in the frig. Leave it there for at least 24 hours (2 days is better). Remove the steak from the bag and cook it. Serve with Lea and Perrins steak sauce (NOT worcestershire sauce) and creamed corn. Awesome. -------------------------------------------------- Crush up some ruffles potato chips down to say rice sized bits (about a cup of crushed chips). Mix in a a cup of french onion dip and mix well with a wooden spoon. Can be eaten directly out of the bowl or used as a dip for celery, stuffing for stuffed backed pototoes, etc.

We make those eggs quite often. Except, we had a little water (maybe tsp.)and microwave for 30 seconds. Then, let it sit for a minute and put shredded cheese on top. Then do another 30 seconds and let sit again. The water helps prevent the egg from falling and it stays "poofier." By the way, the best bowls to use are 8-10 oz. ramekins.
