1. What are the wires made of?
2. What's the heat rating of the wire?
3. What's the heat rating of the wire coating?

I think this has a lot to do with Copyright law. If Sean were to use the instructions, even if modified slightly for his own commercial use, he'd be subject to a lawsuit!

I think if Sean has been doing this for a hundred of the local guys, he's already on shakey ground, but if he started exporting this to expand as a business operation, he'd run the risk of some pricey legal action, both from Zxtreme and GroundingGear! This is what one of my lawyer / clients tells me anyway.

I remember Emailing GroundingGear a couple of years ago about this and a few other things, and this was expained to me. It was to protect all the money and time put into their R&D which a lot of ppl have copied. When I first did my Sun Auto and Stillen kits, Gord was the only one that offered any more than 6 wires. Now everyone thinks that more = better because of their research and development!

BTW, I asked them about doing additional extra wires, including the one that Sean has into the Brake compartment. They apparently R&D'd this and other wires, up to 14 if I remember the response and found that the additional wires did nothing and so never offered them.

1. 100% oxygen free copper (8ga)
2. Ive never seen anyone rate the wire and the casing separatly.
3. -40 to 80 degrees C

Never been a fan of using "Audio" (amplifier power wire) for these grounding kits. The insulating shield is just not up to automotive (oil and gas resistant) standards. The best thing to use is single aught (0) welding cable with copper ends, filled with synthetic grease and shrink tubing rapped.

The secret is in the placement of the grounding wires, Gorden has this down.

+1 (or 5 or whatever # we're on in this thread) for Sean's wires... I would have tried Gord's but he doesn’t have the color I wanted... I had Stillen and it was worthless (and I'm a big fan of Stillen)... Sean's kit is worthwhile

REVIEW:
sxexcx grounding kit

Ok so lets start out with Sean , hes an awesome guy very knowledgeable guy about our cars and the g35 community he's very easy to get a long with and is a very professional about his work. He is easy to get a long with and easy to talk to as well you can talk to him about any aspect of our cars.

Grounding kit review: You pull up into Seans driveway there he is waiting for you with tools in hand ready to go you pop the hood and he begins his masterpiece. Wires already pre cut and ready to go into the car. The kit took about 45 min for him to install hes very careful not miss anything checks and then double checks everything and finishes off the install with an ecu reset. As for purchasing this my expectations weren't set so high i thought it would be just a cool looking dress up mod. As i leave his house i was just curious if these wires could actually help the performance in my car. Come to realize and i make my u-turn and then gun it, the throttle response was improved, shifting between 1-2 and 2-3 was much more smoother (less lag for all you at guys) as i get i the freeway i was like this mod was worth every penny. Not only would i recommend getting this kit due to performance and looks but you get to meet a pretty cool guy in the end.
Thanks a lot Sean

Thank you very much Mike. I have to agree that one of the best things about making / installing these kits is meeting a lot of cool people and talking about G's. I am glad you enjoy the kit!
