redline synthetic tranny fluids

Finishing up my clutch/flywheel this week and I was going to go OEM since everyone recommends oem for most cars on tranny fluids. But did some searching and saw that some people likes Redline. Does anybody have experience with Redline Synthetic tranny fluids?

its not "bad"... just had better results with Motul

I'd rate it

OEM < Mobil1 < amsoil < torco < redline < motul

Put it in over 100 cars so far, including mine, only matt noticed some grinding, still waiting for him to bring it by so we can check it out

^I use Motul thanks to Joe. Its good stuff for sure. When its 20 degrees out and the fluid is cold the tranny definately feels different for a few minutes. Even the OEM fluid will feel different when its freezing out though. I describe the feeling as notchy for the first few minutes. I only noticed this during freezing temps. But after it warms up its great. I did some smashin around last night on Tiger Mtn and ran through the gears up and down the mountain, very smooth shifting...like butter

If you race your car and really get your temps up, the redline and other high performance fluids are what you need. If you don't get the temps up really high, I would recommend the OEM fluids other than engine oil.
