Does anybody know if the aero kit front bumper cover takes a different license plate cover? I tried to swap over my stock front license plate cover to the new aero bumper cover and it doesn't quite fit. It's just a hair too wide. Do I need to buy a new one? Or should it fit?

I bought it from a guy on this board. He said it didn't come with one and he planned to use his stock one. Can I buy a new license plate cover from the dealer? And will it have to be painted? I was hoping to drop my new bumper cover off at the body shop tomorrow morning to be painted.

Well, it's too late now. I've had it sitting in my garage for a few months already. I bought one of those "out of the box" deals. It wasn't used, but it didn't come with everything, I guess....
I'm wondering if the body shop can trim it to fit???? There is only about an 1/8" difference in the two. Hard to believe Inifniti would make two different license plate covers.

well if its primered.........then it definitely had some work done to it because it comes factory out of the box painted with your color code!! he lied!!!!!! he probably had it on his car and then scratched it up and primered and sold it.

Perhaps. Because, now that I look at it, there are some areas on the backside that appear to be overspray. But, it doesn't appear it was actually installed, which is good. Anyway, I feel like I still got a decent deal on it. I now just have to get a new license plate cover. I just wish I had discovered this prior to the day before I dropped it off at the body shop.
