stuck in brake job, piston wont go back in...
Ok, first off this isnt on a G or an Infiniti. I own one as you know, but I am in the midst of helping a buddy change the front brakes out on his 1994 850 Volvo Turbo. A lot of you guys have give great advice which spans across lots of different brands and models so I thought I would give this shot.
I got one side all done, easy as cake. I am putting back together the other side and like the first side I need to use some pliers to push the piston back into its home a little so I can fit the pads in the caliper enough to fit around the rotor. The problem is on this side that it wont go back in, even a little. I am a pretty strong guy and I cant get it to budge. He has a manual for the car and we looked at that but it suggests the same thing we've done. Push it back in with pliers is what is says.
Anyone have any ideas? Do I need to take the other side apart again? Seems like it could be a back and forth game if I do that.
Any help appreciated. THANKS
