I want to paint my OEM 19" Rays...well...I want it to look graphite or black...asked the vendor that comes to my dealership and he said I should go "Black chrome", something a "plasma" something....he said it'll look graphite-ish with a chrome tint...I don't like chrome, but he said it's not "chrome" chrome...and he said it adds the LEAST weight to the wheels....the the cost for the entire set for my car is $600....BUT, they don't do the polished lips..so I was like..EGH!

If you've changed the color of your OEM 19" Rays, please post some pictures...thanX in advance...

 

i just photoshoped it, but here is black chrome on a diamond graphite.

 

They look like Vinyl basketball shoes

 

I spoke to a powder coat shop out here "Glendale Powdercoating" and the guy told me not to do the black chrome on anything that is not chrome to start because it comes out with a green tint to it.

also, the dude told me if you go black, you gotta have the polished lips cuz otherwise while driving, your wheels would look like steelies...

 

if you see the new acura tl black chrome wheels i think yours will turn out something like that

 

I like the way it looks. might go this route or just all black!
