we have not had a cruise yet so here it is...
We will meet here and then cruise road 2222. It has lots of twists, bends, and great views for taking pictures. Plan on bringing your significant others since it is close to Valentines Day. We will go to Mansfield Dam and snap a few more pictures once there. Afterwards we can chill at one of the local bars, or restaurants. Maybe Oasis or another place.

We will discuss details about scheduling a track day sometime in the Spring here in Austin as discussed per the January Meet, and develop other ideas for the Texas Meet.

they are pulling my g out from around a pole right now.

 

^!!! what??!! holy $hit!! how did that happen? How bad is it? Sorry to hear that are you ok?

 

welll, i was heading home last night. across the street from my apt complex there is a lot of construction goiing on...with all of the trucks in and out, they have pulled a lot of mud from the site onto the street and with all of this rain (it was lightly raining and all last night) the mud is really slick. on my way into second it slid to my right and while going into third, i over corrected. then i hit another patch of the mud and the tires caught on the way out of the muddy spot. unfortunately, i was facing the curb on the other side of the street by this time. it vaulted me over the curb, through a telephone pole and my g was on its passengers side, laid to rest. to boot there were electrical wires on it and we couldn't get to any of our stuff. and a girl in the back seat wasn't wearing a seatbelt. she is still in the hospital. i believe that her injuries are pretty minor, but they are running all tests to make sure...a sad day for sure. i'm depressed as sh!7!!!! i've only had my g since november

 

G-ATX - That sucks man! I probably would have just sat there and cried.

Sorry to hear that G-ATX, I hope all turns out well. How are you and the other passengers now? I'm assuming that from the sound of your story the G is totaled? Let us know how is everything.

 

I forgot to mention, if you have been working on a logo for Centex VQ post it up and let us see it.

 

I'm tentative for the 16th. I may be out of town that weekend... not sure yet.

The following Monday after the last meet, I was backing out of my normal parking space at work, and between the time of looking over my right shoulder then my left shoulder and backing out, a pickup truck hit my back bumper in my blind spot....ughhhh....

I've had her for just over three years and not so much as a door ding on her until this. $2500 worth of damage by hitting a pickup truck doing 15mph. She goes in the shop first thing in the morning.
