Raging Bull Texas Stampede Pics
The Raging Bull Texas Stampede took place last Sunday February 27. It was a huge success! It was way more than I expected. The group were all very serious drivers. Here are some pics of the morning meeting before the Sampede took off. Enjoy!

Following the morning meeting, we rode the Bull until lunch time where we stopped at the Stagecoach Inn. The meal was great and needed after the busy morning of riding a Bull that kicked alot more than I expected. While meeting togeather after lunch, we noticed a group of sports cars crusing around. They saw us meeting and decided to join us. They consisted of a couple of Corvettes, a Lotus, a Viper and an S2000.

More of the Lunch break:
The Twilight Blue G35 Sedan is mine! She is pretty dirty from eating fumes of two Twin Turbo 300Zs. Man do they kick up a bunch of debri off the road when they smoke past you!

We really needed the lunch break! The bad G35 Coupe with the Nissan badge and Carbon Fiber hood belongs to LivyathanZero. His coupe is the most amazing! No cats, Helix test pipes and god knows what else... you can hear his exhaust note several hundred yards away above my WOT. Just a really bad car and alot of fun to follow.

Getting ready to saddle up for the afternoon drive! Then this group of other sport cars saw us and had to come show off. Two Vettes, 1 Viper, 1 Lotus and a Honda S2000. They were jealous!

When I switched with my navigator, I was able to take some shots of the Stampede in action. It took all ones attention to drive, but it was more frightening being the navigator. Not being in control of one's future is a sinking feeling!

More of the "Ride". One of the cars had brake issues. When we stopped, the brakes were smoking! Brakes ave VERY importang on a Stampede like this one. We were on the brakes as much as we were on the gas during this Raging Bull ride. Slowing down to safely make a turn on the Stampede takes its toll on one's brakes. My sedan's brakes held up amazingly well. I think I need new brakes again.....

One last stop before drinks and food at the Oasis. I actually checked my oil level at this stop because I was driving the G35 so hard. She didn't need any and I felt better about checking it.

The Oasis is a great Austin tradition. A real treat for those of us from Houston. We called ahead and made reservations. What a sunset!
