Wow!! Those are some UNBELIEVABLE numbers. In nine games, the Cowboys have scored 101 points more than their opponents? That's just SICK!!

That's because Washington refuses to learn how to put teams away. The Giants in Week 3 were absolutely dominated by the 'skins (something like 21 to 7 at the half) and then once the two teams come back from halftime, the Giants woke up and the 'skins offense went to sleep. That sparked a 6 game win streak by the Giants which the Cowboys rudely ended. The 'skins also ran up a 21-6 lead over Arizona at the end of the 3 qtr in week 7. The 'skins D let Arizona back into the game and nearly lost the game if it weren't for a missed field goal with seconds left to go. Look back to week 6 against the Packers. The 'skins lost that game by a field goal even though they dominated in nearly every statistic. Jason Campbell even throw for more yards than Favre. This past week, the Skins had so many chances to put Philly away it wasn't funny. Between a hit-or-miss defense and questionable redzone offense, the 'skins won't make the playoffs. The 50 point blitz by the Patriots is what put the point differential in the negatives.

You can't ignore the 'skins injuries, though. Six key guys are out (three are probable):

Cornelius Griffin
Santana Moss
Antwaan Randle-El
Fred Smoot
Randy Thomas
Marcus Washington

Cowboys have only gotten healthier as the year has moved along.

I highly doubt the 'skins will beat the Cowboys this weekend. Even if the 'skins take an early lead, they won't hold it. That is too much of a trend this year. I'll like the Cowboys 28-17 over the 'skins (as much as I hate to say it.)

I feel the same way. We have beaten ourselves in so many games this year (Packers, Giants, and Eagles). I believe a lot has to do with coaching (as much as I love Gibbs) and not punching the ball into the end zone when it counts.

You are missing some other key players who will be out:
Sean Taylor (I know TO is happy about that)
Carlos Rogers
James Thrash

Anyway, Hail to the Redskins!

You really think that the 'skins D can hold Dallas under 30 points? It's possible but with all the injuries that you guys have in the secondary, I think that Dallas gets into the 30's at least.

I'm just being optimistic. That's what fans are for.

Btw, just saw Berman on sportscenter. He predicts 30-13 Cowboys. We'll see who's closer.

Yeah, I forgot about those guys. Thrash was doing very will last game, too. Taylor is always ready to hit someone in the mouth.

I'm just hoping the game will be interesting. That's all I ask. Make it interesting. Don't let it be a blowout like the Patriots game. I can't stand to watch another beatdown like that.

Edit: Just read where Brandon Lloyd broke his collarbone. Not that he plays all that much or well when he does play...but still.

Sorry fellas but the one team that I hope the Cowboys always smoke . . . is the Redskins. This is argueably the biggest rivalry in the NFL. I love it when Dallas pounds the 'Skins!!

Of course. It's the old 'Boys/'Skins rivalry which, I'm sorry, has sucked lately.

I've forgotten that there have been some good games the last couple of years. I haven't been in the D.C. area so I haven't been able to watch many of them. I do remember the overtime game when the 'Boys beat the skins on a bomb to Rocket Ismail. I do also remember the 'Skins to long touchdowns to Santana Moss to win it a couple of years ago. The game today is shaping up to be a dandy as it is 28-23 'Boys with 3:00 min. to go.

Its good that Al Saunders put a little more faith in Jason "Bubba Lips" Campbell...10 weeks too late.

He played well but his lack of experience definitely shows. Hes got a nice car though (new white M6). He doesn't live too far from me.

Wow!! Another great Cowboys/Redskins game. In rivalry games, you basically gotta throw out the records. Props to the 'Skins for playing well and giving the 'Boys a good game. Phew . . . that was close. But today was the TO Show and the Cowboys are 9-1!!! HOW 'BOUT THEM COWBOYS!!

At least he has good taste in cars, lol.

Unfortunately I couldn't get the game (I monitored it on NFL.com) but it seems that it was a good one! In the end it was just as I expected, the D give up the big play(s) (two bombs to Owens). I'm just glad to see the 'skins put up a fight!
