I kinda understand...if the US team had offered her a spot before she'd accepted the Russian one and she chose Russia I may see it a little differently but she had already made a comittment...and it is just a basketball game.

Hrrrm.....I can see it in her way....i dont know if shes russian at all or not but me, I'm Asian, I'm a American Citizen, but if i was an athlete and my country has a team I go play for them, nothing will change how i look, where I live is where I live not how I look and who I am.

She is not russian but she has russian citizen ship because she plays in a league their in the WNBA offseason and lives their...I think it was blown way out of proportion and the officials realized it now and they are backing off.
I didn't hear none of these guys bitch when Brett Hull played for the US Hockey team and not the Canadian because of his dual citizenship.
