MLB fans come on in.

I see almost no baseball talk on this site. Basketball is done, football is a summer away and now baseball is coming up on when i consider the season to start......July

Whos everyones team?
Any Yankee's fans?

Texas has gotta trade some of those position players for some young arms imo. I remember as a kid I loved the rangers. Irod, Juan Gonzales,Palmero,Ruben Sierra lol they could hit. Plus Nolan Ryan was my favorite player. I have a soft spot for the Rangers but thats where I draw the line with Texas teams

pete incaviglia, franco, sierra, dean palmer.....lol. those were good line-ups. gonzo, pudge. they would always try to get good pitchers but they would always fail. Our ballbark is a hitters park and i think that's why our pitchers have always failed. we are at the point where we lost so much $ on the a-rod deal that tom hicks (owner) has somewhat gave up. I need to go to a game this year, maybe a boston game. the smell of the grass and lights.

Curt Schilling announced today he will have surgery and will most lokely retire. I was hoping he would make it back in September but its not gonna happen.

Nice to see the Rays off to a great start and I don't think it's a fluke after the series with the Cubs. The AL east has a lot of competition this year which makes it all the more interesting. Hopefully attendance at Tropicana picks up dramatically and they get a lot more fan support.

That said, Go Sox!

well, they had someone by the name of Edinson Volquez.... but they traded him for Josh Hamilton. Texas loves their hitters, that's for sure.

Another Sox fan here and I agree that the AL East is much better. The Rays are very good and will definitely be in the race all year. I am shocked that the Orioles are over .500 right now especially with there opening day starter (Guthrie) being 3-7.

Should be a fun rest of the season, no clear cut favorite this year.
