Formula One French Grand Prix

Pretty boring race, but it does add yet another change in leader for the driver's championship. It seems like it may come down to the last race again this year, which is good. Unfortunately the next race is in Silverstone which isn't the most exciting track in the world, but we'll see. Rain would certainly spice things up.

Pretty boring is right.......
Let's hope Hamilton has learned something from the last 2 races.

Well, we were overdue for a boring race. For the past year and a half F1 has been as good as ever. Maybe Silverstone will have some surprises. Who knows.

I hope so...
We need Hamilton back in the mix or Ferrari is going to run away with things.

A bit off-topic, but I wonder how McLaren would be doing if they had an extra, oh I don't know, $100 MILLION?

This season has been amazing. There isn't one driver that I don't like, except maybe hamilton just a tiny bit. Of course I still love Kimi, been cheering for him for years and last year was amazing!

Massa is kicking a$$ this season and even good ol' Coultard got a podium. What a great season!

Why?

Just asking because I've noticed that more and more people are searching for things to complain about Lewis Hamilton. In his rookie season everyone was in awe expecting him to be a black Schumacher someday. Now people criticize him and his dad. It's one of the things I hate about society: when someone gets too popular, it's suddenly not cool to like them anymore. Even Fernando Alonso gets less criticism after the crap he pulled last year. I call it the "Jordan" syndrome. Everyone loved Michael Jordan at first, but then when he started winning too many championships, fans said he was hogging the ball or refs were biased towards him, he was addicted to gambling, just because he got too popular.

IMO Hamilton is awesome! He's still got some kinks in his game to work out, but he will be a multiple champion. Then people will really hate him.

+1... ferrari is king. i think lewis is an amazing driver...

but i always root for the guys in mid-pack to do something nobody expects...

like sutil pulling off a podium, or kubica to get another win.

to watch pique, glock, and bourdias is actually pretty exciting. those guys are giving everything they have - and often push beyond their limits.

France was boring. Too bad it didnt rain.

The Red Cars had everyone covered, BMW was way off the pace and Hamilton was a failure. He couldn't even get around Piquet and had to nerf his way past Alonso.

Best drive of the race had to be Trulli. He is always fast in qualifying but I'm glad to see him get a podium.

I think its great that we are seeing so much competition and if Kubica keeps finishing in the points, he still has a shot at the WDC. I love the underdogs.

Next up: Silverstone! Lets see if Hamilton, Button or DC can represent for the home crowd. (too bad no Davidson since Super Aguri ran out of $$$)

i dont really have anything against hamilton other than him being a rookie and being one point away from world champion (last season) and i know i should be in awe of him but somehow, someway it was just a bit of a turn off. again, its not that i DONT LIKE him i just don care if he wins.

I got bored with F1 when mika hakkinen left and every race you could bet your life that schumacher was going to win. hakkinen and alonso back then were the only two who seemed to be able to beat him. this season there are just so many great, interesting drivers its hard NOT to pull for them all.

on that note, Go KIMI!

Missed the race guys but it sounds like it wasn't a huge loss. I agree we need hamilton in there for better competition.
