UFC 85 Rampage vs. Griffen

Who do you think is gonna win this fight?

I think Rampage is gonna come out on top by a REF. stoppage! They both like to strike but Forrest is more of a counter puncher when their is someone who is more aggressive than he is, IMO when he is counter punching Rampage will go in for a take down and work the G&P...Forrest didn't do to well the last time he was on the receiving end of a G&P.

I really doubt that this fight will get technical...IMO it will be be more brawn than a brains aspect.

Rampage wins by REF. stoppage in the 4th RD.

Ya I'm gonna call BULLSH!T on this statement...How the hell could you say that the UFC could rig their fights, What advantage would that give them...these are sanctioned fights by State Athletic Commissions these are not WWE wrestling matches.

rigging could happen in any sports.
it happened in basketball already why not mma?

there could be tons of reasons to rig a fight.
winning a bet, promoting a fighter etc etc

They have been accused of having their stars fight where there is no drug testing policy. Other than the drug problem I dont thing they are rigging anything.

BBall is their own association and they are not a sanctioned sport by each state they have events in so you can't compare the 2.

betting are you serious...Nevada State Gaming Commission watches sports books like hawks...They are constantly monitoring fight odds to see if a large bet is placed that will cause said odds to change...So I highly doubt a multi-billion dollar CO. is fixing fights for bets.

How long have you been watching MMA? I'm gonna guess not long...because if the UFC wants to promote a fighter that will be the face of the CO. for a time being they will have him do a bunch of tune up fights against nobodys.

Then any competition that would threaten the new face would be released from the organization.

example...Matt Lindland and Rich Franklin both in the same weight class...Franklin was more promotable than Lindland was and Lindland was released from the UFC because of it...That and the fact that he would have dominated Franklin! There for Franklin was made the face of the UFC for a while!

im not saying there is rigging in mma i highly doubt there is
what does being sanction by the state have to do with rigging?
so if its sanctioned by state its 100% rigged proof?
didn't the nba/nfl/nhl have to be sanctioned once(probably when they first started) by the state to allow the to play in their state?

have u ever heard of underground betting? theres probably more money going to underground betting than bookies

and whats with the comments betting are u serious/how long have u been watching mma?

u dont know what going on in peoples mind these days, money talks
refs could be stopping fights early
judges could be favoring one fighter over another
the fighters/trainers could be betting on themself to lose
fighters could be taking riods/growth hormones
dana white could be betting/rigging fights for himself without the CEO knowing
**** even the mafia could be threating dana white to rig a fight

how are u suppose to know if its going on or not?
i guess all these scandals with the government/cops/sports is fake and we all live in one big happy place where no illegal activity is going on

sounds like u sucking dana whites dick since u know so much about the ufc

Being sanctioned by a state has everything to to do with it you idiot! Why do you think they only have events in certain states...Unlike the 4 major sports!

You really are an idiot...your comparing a combat sport that was once illegal that is why they needed to be sanctioned...to conform to rules to make it safer so they could continue to have events.

"Probably when they first started"...LMMFAO are you serious with this comment...No they did not have to sanctioned because they are their own association...They started with their own rules and regulations from day 1 unlike the UFC. And last time I checked hitting, kicking and submissions are not allowed in any of the 4 major sports!

Yes I have heard of underground betting and I agree that their is alot of money in betting...I never said their wasn't...(This a response to your ridiculous comment below) However do you think Dana White who owns 10% of the UFC and runs 100% of it...is going to a bookie and saying hey put 10g's down on Forrest to win the fight tonight!

Your right I don't know what is going on in other peoples minds...nor do you!

If you've watched any kind of MMA you would see that refs stop fights early all the time sometimes to early...that is a sanctioned rule by the way!

Your absolutely right they do favor 1 fighter over the other...they score the fights on a boxing point system...they don't understand MMA!

Fighters/Trainers betting on them selves to lose...Why would they do that...Do some research and see how their payouts and bonuses go for a night.

Fighters "could be" taking...No EVERY fighter is on HGH and Steroids!

Shawn Sherk...tested positive and was stripped of his title after he won it
Joyce Gracie...fought in a submission competition in 06 and was stripped of his win because he tested positive.
Tim Sylvia...Stripped of his heavyweight title after he won because he tested positive.
Lee Murray...10 years in a Moraccan jail for dealing steroids

WOW...that second leg kick in the 2nd round hurt me...I really thought it was all over after that...But credit to Rampage for hanging in their.

I love the personality of both these guys...they are both quick to congratulate each other and they are both funny fvckers when doing it! I love Forrest's comment I guess we gotta do it again but I don't wanna get hit by him anymore...LOL

I can't wait to see that rematch
